We saw this movie at the new AMC Cinema Suites theatre. Two beers and the motorized leather recliner made this movie standable. This is the kind of movie that isn't a melodrama and isn't a comedy. Frankly, I'm not sure what it is. The plot centers on these two long term friends and business partners who enter a car design development business. The central conflict arises when Vaughn's character catches James's wife cheating. From that point forward its a back and forth "mind everyone else's business" soap opera. If you think that being married takes a village - this is clearly the movie for you. Some of it is funny but not much. Most of could have been funny in the hands of different actors who had a better feel for the script or even better - some capable of revising the script. Mostly its just trying too hard. All in all were I faced with the choice of this movie or a sharp stick in the eye - I chose this movie. But frankly I rather see True Grit for the 2nd or 3rd time. Tufr

I went to see The Dilemma with one of my friends yesterday. We both thought the same thing it was just ok nothing special. In parts it was good but over all I don't know if I would tell anyone to spend the money to see I would wait until it comes out on Red Box or Net Flicks.Young couples might enjoy it,I thought it was cheesy in parts and a little all over the place.

I saw a screening of this film while it was in development. This had to be one of the stupidest movies vie ever seen. They try desperately to make a comedy out of a spouse cheating on their partner. The script is goofy and the schtick is embarrassing to all. Winona Ryder is clearly miscast....guess she's having a hard time getting producers to cast her. Vince Vaughn, who was a riot in "The Wedding Crashers" is trying too hard to breath comedy in to a drab, boring script - surprising for a Ron Howard movie. Kevin James only makes matters worse. There's not only no chemistry in this ensemble, there's nothing funny in betrayal which seems to be the latest ruse for trying to create something funny out of something very dark and sad! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Great movie. Well done and the title was fitting. It was not only a comedy but a well done story of real issues we seeen people face. The actors did a wonderful job and Ron Howard brought us another good one.
